Chair

Irvin is a Conway native, and has been with CAP from the very beginning. Irvin is a graduate of USC, and worked as a social worker with Horry County DSS before retiring. Irvin enjoys serving on our board of directors because he has a passion for helping those in need. In his free time, he likes to volunteer and enjoys giving his wife a hard time.

Sally joined our board of directors from St. Annes Episcopal Church. She is a native of Ohio and graduated from Fairmont State University. Sally enjoys serving on our board of directors because it allows her to give back to the community. In her free time, she likes to go shopping, spend time with her granddaughter, and spend time with friends.

Beverly is a native of New York, where she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology. Beverly got involved at CAP when her neighbor asked her to help volunteer with us. She enjoys serving on our board of directors to help others, working with the team, and the fellowship. In her free time, she likes gardening and being involved in her church and community.

Diana is a South Carolina native, and a member of Conway Church of God. She first got involved with CAP through her church. She enjoys serving on our board of directors to provide food to families in need, and to be able to minister to them at the same time. In her free time, Diana enjoys reading, singing, and listening to Christian music.

Judy is an Aynor native and previously taught high school math. She is a graduate of Aynor High School, Winthrop, and USC (even though she is also a Clemson fan!). She attends Trinity United Methodist Church, where she first got involved with CAP. Judy enjoys serving on our board of directors because CAP provides an organized way to help others. In her free time, she likes: crafting, pickleball, and jigsaw puzzles.

Ralph is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, where he attended Kentucky Wesleyan College. He is now retired, and spends time volunteering with us a CAP. Ralph enjoys serving on our board of directors because he enjoys helping people, the atmosphere, and working alongside fellow volunteers. He also likes to walk, read, and is involved in various activities in his church.

Thomas joined our board of directors from St. James Catholic Church. He is originally from Staten Island, NY, and a graduate of Bryant University. He was the store manager for JCPenney and Marshalls before retiring. Thomas enjoys serving on our board of directors to help satisfy the needs of our community. In his free time, he volunteers with Meals on Wheels and CCU (driving the golf cart for seniors and handicapped), and enjoys sports.

Frances joined our board of directors from Kingston Presbyterian Church. She is from Conway, a graduate of USC, and taught English in Horry County until she retired in 2000. Frances serves on our board of directors to provide service to our community, and to serve as Jesus commanded in a hurting world. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and sewing.

Carlee is a native of Kansas, where she attended Fort Hays State University. She is a retired teacher, and now lives in Conway. Carlee attends First United Methodist Church, where she first got involved with CAP. She enjoys serving on our board of directors because of the fellowship between the board and the staff. In her free time, Carlee likes to play cards and watch TV.
